The series is also the first to be mounted on the arches of heavy vehicles such as trucks and excavators, made possible by the concave rubber gasket included in the series (part number 850409). The Dark Knight rearlight come with a "click-on" frame for seamless mounting to the vehicle, with hidden screws to avoid stone chips and corrosion. You can choose between a black or chrome frame to match the vehicle's appearance and both options are included in the range. You can also purchase additional frames in black (art. no. 850398) or chrome (art. no. 850399). An included EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) pad is placed between the housing and the vehicle for a smooth contact surface. If you want to go a step further, you can paint the black frame the same colour as the vehicle for a customised look. The Epix+ series is developed with a focus on both design and function for today's modern vehicles. The EPIX5+ Work Strobe is a work light bar that offers a selectable red or yellow/orange position light and an R65 approved strobe light to increase visibility. One of the smart features is that the position light is integrated directly into the reflector, which gives a neat and stylish look. In addition, the ramp is approved as both a reversing light and a taillight according to ECE R23 and R148, which makes it a flexible solution for different needs.
With an output of 30 W and a light pattern that reaches 59 meters at 1 lux, this ramp provides a good working light with a wide spread of 120°, which means that you get a lot of light over a large area. With 1700 actual lumens and a color temperature of 5000K, it also provides a natural light that works well in various working conditions. The ramp is supplied with smart fasteners that allow it to be mounted in several different ways on the vehicle.
