BAY15D (P21/5W)

Here you can find a wide range of lamps with the BAY15D base, also known as P21/5W.

The name BAY15D is an abbreviation that means:

BA = Bayonet fitting
Y = Offset in the Y direction, i.e. the bayonet pins have an offset in the Y direction (see picture).
15 = 15 mm in diameter
D = Double i.e. two poles.

Depending on the colour of the lamp, they can also be called PY21/5W (Y as in yellow), PR21/5W (R as in red) or PW21/5W (W as in white). These lamps are mainly used in rear lights, brake lights, reversing lights and position lights. We have different models depending on different needs. They differ in size, colour, brightness and more. Several of our models have built-in resistors for canbus. This means that they do not alert the car's light monitoring system (Canbus). For those models that have no built-in resistors at all, there are separate power resistors available for purchase.

The lamps are LED and use less power and last longer than traditional halogen lamps. This means that you get more for your money when you take the lifespan into account.
