As the name suggests, the Sport Japan discs were designed specifically for the Japanese market to begin with. There, appearance and performance are of the utmost importance.

Sport Japan discs are one of the few performance discs that have drilled holes. This is one of the most efficient and aggressive ways to dissipate heat from the braking surface. Therefore, to ensure performance, the discs have strategically placed holes, allowing heat to be dissipated into the ventilation channels. The six slotted grooves prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt. This allows the brake discs to stay cooler for longer.

Like all Tarox brake discs, SJ are made from the highest quality high carbon castings. They are heat-treated for strength and durability, and then balanced by hand. Finally, they are anti-corrosion treated. This provides a perfect contact surface with maximum braking efficiency.
